Overview
A thriving Omaha law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3–5 years of experience to support a busy management-side practice. The ideal attorney is detail-oriented, proactive, and strong in research, writing, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, briefs, and client advisories with clarity and precision.
Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation and counseling matters.
Assist across the L&E spectrum : discrimination / harassment, wage & hour, leave laws, discipline / terminations, and compliance training.
Manage deadlines and multiple matters simultaneously while communicating progress to partners and clients.
Collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications
3–5 years of labor & employment or litigation experience; management-side employment law preferred.
Strong academic credentials and exceptional research / writing skills
Excellent organization, analysis, and problem-solving abilities; self-starter with keen attention to detail.
Licensed in Nebraska or eligible for prompt admission / waiver.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary : $115,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience.
