About the Job :
The Pain Clinic RN accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care using nursing processes in the Pain Clinic setting. The Pain Clinic RN directs and guides patient care, while maintaining professional nursing standards. The Pain Clinic RN establishes competency in caring for patients requiring surgical and non-surgical pain interventions. The Pain Clinic RN position works closely with the CRNA providing pain services, scheduling surgeries and providing outpatient care to patients as necessary. The Pain Clinic RN will also assist with patient referrals, coordination of care, prior auth process, and follow up. Prior knowledge of the surgical pain process and normal postoperative courses of patients is preferred
The Shift : Part-Time (0.5 FTE) (20 hours per week)
Hours : Works Monday through Friday, Variable Start Times.
Pay : Starts at $30.54 for ADN and $31.54 for BSN, both increase with experience. $3.50 for shift differential
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited training program for Registered Professional Nurses and current registration in state of Iowa.
Registered Nursing experience in a hospital or clinic is preferred.
BLS required.

The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
