Ambulatory Surgery RN : Pre / Post-Operative & PACU Excellence (No Nights, Weekends, or Call!)

Your Role : Comprehensive Peri-Operative Care
You will be responsible for providing and directing seamless, compassionate care across the pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU phases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and efficient center operations.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Admission & Assessment : Conduct thorough admission assessments in the Pre-Op area, develop individualized care plans, and ensure all pre-operative preparations are complete.PACU Expertise : Provide safe, individualized nursing care in the immediate Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) . Monitor and assess the patient's physical and emotional status post-operatively and respond to and inform the anesthesia team of any complications.Discharge Management : Perform thorough patient assessments prior to discharge. Educate patients and significant others on post-operative instructions, prescriptions, and signs requiring immediate medical care, documenting all details accurately.Leadership & Efficiency : Provide unit-level leadership, acting as a resource for the center. Organize time, equipment, and supplies efficiently, and maintain cost-containment efforts.Specialized Procedures : May be involved in providing pre / intra / post-care for "pain" procedures, providing sedation for colonoscopies, or circulating colonoscopy cases as needed.Compliance & Advocacy : Adhere strictly to HIPAA and privacy laws, promoting patient dignity, privacy, and safety through proper positioning and preparation.Required Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate's Degree Required).Licensure : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state.Certifications : Current CPR , ACLS , and PALS certifications are Required .Skills : Evidence of leadership qualities, strong ethical character, and excellent written and verbal communication in English.Preferred Experience :
