Warehouse Associate

Scope
Responsible for the storage, picking, and issuance (to the shop floor) of raw materials and for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies.
Essential Duties
- Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items.
- Issues job skids to manufacturing supervisors and collects the supervisor's signature on pick lists and ABMs.
- Receives inbound freight and visually inspects it for shipping damage.
- Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes.
- Sorts recently received items and places these items in their designated storage areas.
- Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.
- Picks, pulls and packages / crates outgoing shipments.
- Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments.
- Has knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia).
- Uses basic Microsoft office software such as Excel and Word.
- Is able to operate a forklift when necessary.
- Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures.
- Backs up production.
Other Duties
Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies.Perform other related duties as assigned.Tools and Equipment
Use computer, specified software, forklift, camera, scales and packing materials, tape measure, bander and have knowledge of crating.
