MANAGER ASSISTANT TERMINAL

Job Summary

The assistant manager will be responsible for all aspects of the cement terminal operations including : Management of all aspects of cement reception and delivery. Rail, truck and / or barge reception and rail loading where applicable as well as truck reception when and where applicable.

Job Responsibilities

• Assistant manager will be responsible for implementing and overseeing CEMEX Health and Safety management systems and processes
• Operate terminals in compliance with all state & federal safety and environmental standards
• Manage costs aswell as manage inventories to avoid stock outs and or demurrage
• Plan, develop and implement strategies to maximize production and reduce costs
• In conjunction with the terminal manager, develop and manage a terminal budget
• Responsible for process improvements, and staffing of plant to ensure operational efficiency
• Foster teamwork, open communication and cooperation across functional boundaries
• Adhereto all CEMEX and OSHA rules and regulationsat all timesand wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
