Job Description : Missouri Organic Recycling is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Assistant to support the internal operations that keep our team running smoothly. This role works closely with leadership and a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) to maintain accurate payroll records and support HR processes, including onboarding and employee documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, dependable, and thrives on completing important tasks that help our team and mission succeed behind the scenes.

Core Responsibilities :

• Maintain payroll records and coordinate submissions with the PEO to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation, welcoming new team members into the Missouri Organic family.
• Support updates to handbook policies, practices, and compliance tracking to uphold company standards.
• Respond to employee questions with clarity and escalate issues as needed, fostering trust and open communication.
• Perform general administrative tasks that help the business run efficiently as we grow and evolve.
