job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing conflict resolution skills as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the location. Document observations and incidents in daily activity reports and communicate findings to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client representatives as required. Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and provide directions or information to building occupants and visitors. Support emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures in accordance with site protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Experience providing customer service is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. - Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
