Spectrum Painting LLC in Pompton Lakes, NJ is looking for a motivated and forward-thinking HR Office Administrative Assistant to join our growing team!

Along with a competitive salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year , we offer health and dental insurance, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) plan to help you plan for the future. You'll also enjoy 2 weeks of vacation and 1 week of sick leave, giving you the balance you deserve!

WHAT IMPACT WILL YOU MAKE?

As our HR Office Administrative Assistant, you'll be the heartbeat of our office-ensuring smooth operations while supporting our human resources and administrative functions. You'll assist with recruiting and onboarding new team members, maintaining employee records, supporting benefits administration, and coordinating employee engagement activities. You'll prepare HR documents, organize reviews, and work closely with field crew leaders and management. On the administrative side, you'll coordinate meetings, manage calendars, handle documentation, and even cross-train to provide phone or scheduling coverage when needed. You'll also serve as a backup payroll processor, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness while maintaining employee confidence and trust. Every task you take on contributes directly to our team's success and our company's continued excellence.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM OUR HR OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT?

We're looking for someone who can work a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 8 : 30 AM and 5 : 00 PM, at our Pompton Lakes, NJ office, while meeting the following qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or HR support role
  • Experience processing payroll (preferably using BalancePoint)
  • Familiarity with human resources processes and employment regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work well across departments

Having an associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, and experience in a small to mid-sized business environment are highly preferred. We also need someone with the following qualities and traits :
