Shield AI is seeking an ambitious, motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Accounting team in one of the fastest growing tech startups in Southern California in Defense & Aerospace. As a A / R billing specialist for the organization, you will be responsible for the entire billing process, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with new and existing customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal / communication skills.

What You'll Do :

• Oversee and streamline billing process
• Create and send invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure month-end closing of the billing group functions
• Maintain and implement quality controls for all processes
• Provide excellent & considerate customer service to external and internal customers
• Assist with AR related special projects as necessary
• Weekly and monthly ledger reconciliations, aging review and reporting to direct supervisor
• Confirm and reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances due
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
