Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Telecom Site

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Telecom Site in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct regular patrols and interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats in a technology-focused environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
