Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Roadway Design Engineer in North Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities include :

• Leading roadway design tasks from preliminary to final design for SCDOT, County, and Municipal clients
• Developing and reviewing plan sets, perform roadway geometrics in Open Roads / MicroStation, quantity estimates and associated documents, and working with project team member
• Serving as roadway project lead as necessary
• Grow and learn necessary skills to move into Project Manager role
• Other duties as assigned

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering from an accredited college or university and at least 4 years of experience. A PE license is required.
