We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Hamden CT facility to continue to support our manufacturing operations and maintain our facility and its systems. This is a Steel Workers Union position.

This position reports to the Director of Facility Operations at our building in Hamden CT. Standard work hours are 6 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pm Monday through Thursday. Overtime is on Fridays. There are times where work is needed to be performed through lunch and breaks to get machines up and operational. The break or lunch will be taken once machines are running correctly. There are times where work is needed to be performed outside of these normal business hours and the expectation is that the maintenance department will do the required hours and work to complete the necessary tasks. Almost all work done will be completed indoors but the maintenance department is required to maintain the exterior of the building and all company land and property.

This position is union hourly with overtime and covered by the Steelworks Union contract. Benefits can be discussed upon a phone or in person interview.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities :

All levels of experience in building and facilities maintenance will be considered for this position but schooling, certifications or training in similar field is a plus.
