Hazen and Sawyer is seeking mid-level engineers for our South Florida Offices for a variety of water-related assignments in various engineering disciplines (e.g., Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Structural, etc.).

Key Responsibilities :
Participation in the evaluation, planning, and design of water, wastewater, stormwater, reuse, and infrastructure projectsParticipating in a project team from the initial study and conceptual design stages through to the construction of major water related infrastructure projectsFieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be requiredOther responsibilities may include :Project management of a large project or several small projects
Client development and management supported by our local officesPlanning, organizing, and supervising staff of engineers on projectsRequired Qualifications :
PE license (FL preferred or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment)5-10 years of experience in planning, design, or construction of water-related projectsExperience related to preparing conceptual / feasibility studies, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction servicesFamiliarity with engineering and construction management softwareCapable of supervising staff and managing small projectsExcellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agenciesProficiency in computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong organizational skillsB.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringPreferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)Proficiency in GIS, CAD / BIM, BioWin, PowerBI, and other softwareWhat We Offer :
