In our 1 : 1 ABA setting, you'll work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, employing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. With top-tier supervision, ongoing training, and a passionate team, you'll make a real impact every day!
As an Autism Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in achieving their fullest potential by reading treatment plans, executing therapy activities, collecting data, documenting sessions, and applying feedback from supervisors during observation sessions.
- Facilitating the development of young children (ages 18 months to 8 years) through engaging and interactive therapeutic activities.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to optimize treatment efficacy, ensure safety, and promote a fun working atmosphere in the center.
- Engaging with children through play and movement. This may involve running, dancing, singing, reading, or playing all while maintaining a joyful and interactive environment.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including peers and families, to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for children’s needs.
Requirements for Applicants :
Physical capability to lift and move children in a dynamic environment; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and run to stay engaged with young children while ensuring a tidy and safe environment.Maintaining a therapy-friendly environment by keeping play areas organized and stimulating for children.Multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks, decisions, or conversations while prioritizing safety.Collaboration with teams, possibly including travel to nearby centers for support as needed.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.All new hires must successfully complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, which includes passing a 40-hour training curriculum and hands-on competency assessment.

Associates / High School : $16.20 - $23.50Bachelors : $17.50 - $27.00Masters : $19.00 - $28.00New hires can expect to earn their first raise upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience :
