Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a consumer product development manufacturing company in the Cary, IL area, is seeking a 2nd shift manual machinist to join their team! This is a great company and team !

Shift : 4 : 20pm - 12 : 30am Monday-Friday

Payrate : Up to $33 / hr

• Operate manual tool room equipment
• Perform custom and repair machining of plant related equipment (builds / rebuilds machinery) as a support to the Manufacturing department
• Troubleshoot high speed assembly equipment, and produce spare parts for assembly equipment
• Produce clear / accurate sketches, must be able to read mechanical blueprints
• Perform calibrations, must be able to machine parts to close tolerances (+ / -.0005) using conventional tool room equipment (mill,
• drill press, chop saw, lathe, push and pull broaches, surface grinder, etc.)
• Cut, shape and fabricate tools
• Regularly clean and maintain machinery
• Must be familiar with machining ferrous, non-ferrous and synthetic materials and alloys
