Our client in Itasca is looking for a Direct Hire CNC Machine operator.

PAY : $28-$30 / HR

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME THRHOUGH OUT THE WEEK (SAT & SUN at times)

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Read and interpret engineering detail drawings
  • Set-up, program, and operate CNC machines (Mori-Seiki TL40 and Mazak V550, V515, ATC40, and SQT18) to machine products within all tolerances specified on drawing
  • Upload and download CNC programs to Mazaks using Cam Links software
  • Execute job set-ups to maximize surface feet per minute (SFPM)
  • Verify parts produced are within tolerance and finish requirements
  • Make recommendations as to efficiency / optimization to machining / processes
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on CNC machines

Required Skills :

  • Strong ability to read prints
  • Proficient in CNC machining / programming

    • o Mazatrol

    o G-code

  • Proficient in Cam Links software
  • Accurate build, first time right
  • Proficient in forklift operation
  • Strong ability to rig with use of cranes
  • Proficient with precision analog and digital measuring instruments (calipers, veneers, and micrometers)
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and written
  • Intermediate user level proficiency of Microsoft Outlook, Office, and ERP system
  • MUST BE ABLE TO MOVE / LIFT 100LBS
