Currently seeking a versatile machinist with experience in both manual lathes / mills and CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, capable of handling projects from start to finish, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to produce high-quality precision parts

Operate CNC equipment as needed to meet production requirements

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Plan machining operations, determine appropriate tools, and ensure correct dimensions and tolerances

Work independently to complete assigned projects efficiently and accurately

Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality assurance

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with both manual and CNC machining equipment

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Capable of working independently and completing projects without constant supervision

Solid understanding of machining principles, shop math, and tooling

Prior job shop experience preferred
