PURPOSE / SUMMARY :
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Trapeze Installer to join our TOMARCO team. This role involves assembling and installing trapeze systems to support mechanical, plumbing, or electrical components within our facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES (other duties may be assigned as required) :
Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary tools, materials, and componentsAssist in the fabrication and installation of trapeze supports according to engineering drawings and construction plansMeasure, cut, and assemble materials such as steel channels, rods, and brackets with precisionAssemble components thoroughly and accurately by examining connections, ensuring proper fit, and fastening parts securelyPosition and align components using templates, measurement tools, or visual inspectionVerify final assemblies meet quality specifications using measuring tools and inspection standardsResolve assembly or installation challenges by adjusting components, communicating with supervisors, or requesting additional resourcesOperate hand and power tools safely and effectively while complying with all PPE and safety standardsMaintain clean and organized workspaces, following safety procedures and operational regulationsPerform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; report malfunctions or repair needs promptlySupport warehouse functions, including staging materials, picking inventory, loading / unloading, and maintaining accurate inventory levelsComplete documentation and production forms to record assembly and quality resultsContribute to team success by completing assigned tasks, collaborating effectively, and assisting with other duties as neededRESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance and servicing of the devices, machinery, and equipment in the department pursuant to the legal regulations in force,Responsible for developing, communicating, and training of operational and working instructions,Responsible for reporting any suspicious activity.QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or mechanical environment preferredBasic understanding of mechanical systems, construction terminology, and blueprint interpretationAbility to read and follow installation instructions, blueprints, and technical documentsSkilled in using hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, measuring tape, and mechanical inspection toolsFamiliarity with controls and instrumentation, tooling, manufacturing processes, and quality standardsPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on ladders or lifts as neededStrong focus on safety, equipment maintenance, and OSHA compliance (certification is a plus)Demonstrates sound judgment, decision-making skills, and a quality-driven mindsetReliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCommitted to maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environmentEDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
High School degree / GED or equivalent.2+ years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training.Experience with power and hand tools a plus.Further Qualifications - The successful candidate must also pass a background check.
