Job Description

Oversee the accounting and reporting for investment portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and review financial statements related to investments in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audits and resolve any issues. Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency in investment accounting functions. Provide leadership and mentoring to team members within the accounting and finance department. Monitor and analyze investment performance, offering insights to senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards in the insurance industry. Work cross-functionally with other departments to support strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager, Investment Accounting should have :

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in investment accounting, preferably within the insurance industry.
• GAAP and STAT knowledge
• Experience with Clearwater Analytics highly preferred
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
