Business Transformation Consultant - IT Service Process

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Business Transformation Consultant – IT Service Process opening for our client in Houston, TX.

Location : Houston, TX

Duration : 10 months

Duties

Partner with clients to identify and address business challenges within their IT application portfolio.

Conduct detailed evaluations of technical and functional aspects of the portfolio.

Provide expertise in IT service delivery processes, including SLAs, KPIs, and associated tools.

Analyze client business issues, formulate hypotheses, and test conclusions.

Align business objectives, IT processes, and IT service measurements to ensure maximum client value.

Support process transformation initiatives to improve IT service management maturity.

Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes and tools.

Provide recommendations on optimization opportunities for ITAM and IT operations.

Skills

Deep understanding of IT service processes and service management best practices.

Strong knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) principles and lifecycle processes.

Familiarity with software publisher-specific licensing programs and metrics.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar SAM tools.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to present findings effectively.

Experience

15+ years of relevant experience (a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).

5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or IT operations.

Experience in vendor and contract management.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (may substitute 5 years of experience).

Relevant certifications strongly desired : CSAM, CITAM, ITIL.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
