Your Mission :
We are looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to join our US Construction Retail team - a key division driving our company’s rapid expansion. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our stores across the US, overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance operations in a fast-growing environment
Our retail network is expanding rapidly, with directly operated stores across the US and other European markets (Italy, UK, France, and Germany). As Maintenance & Facilities Manager , you’ll work in a stimulating environment where your contribution will directly impact the success of our stores and the growth of our brand across the US. Key Responsibilities :
- Store Maintenance & Support : Oversee planned and reactive maintenance for all stores, serving as the primary point of contact for external suppliers. Conduct regular site visits to assess maintenance needs and ensure compliance with operational standards. Provide comprehensive administrative support for all facilities management-related topics.
- Budget & KPIs Management : Regularly monitor maintenance-related KPIs and budgets performance for each store, consolidating reports and validate monthly expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality is not compromised.
- Service Coordination & Equipment Management : Review and approve service work quotations, manage purchase orders through the ERP System, and process service callout reports. Coordinate with vendors, consultant, and internal stakeholders for extraordinary maintenance tasks, including urgent interventions for critical equipment and building issues.
- Machinery & Temperature Monitoring : Organize and manage the transfer of machinery as needed. Oversee the installation and monitoring of temperature sensors within stores to maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with store teams to monitor the performance and condition of machinery, equipment and facilities.
- Documentation, Audits & Training : Manage the archiving of maintenance documentation and perform data entry tasks. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that maintenance practices meet the organization’s standards. Train and develop the skills of maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Ideal Candidate :
Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related fieldA minimum of 4–5 years of experience in Facility Management.Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Proven track record of executing projects efficiently will be considered a plus.Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting, and PowerPoint for presentations.Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar systems, as well as knowledge of AutoCAD for design and layout purposes.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of an additional language (for example, Spanish) beyond English will be considered a plus.Willingness and flexibility to travel as required for project oversight and site visits, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.…and of course a chocolate and gelato lover!Benefits :
