Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist for a 13-week rehabilitation therapy assignment with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a rehabilitation therapy department
  • Caseload consists of approximately 60-70% outpatient and 30-40% inpatient, including swing bed and home health patients
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
  • Primary responsibilities include treating a diverse mix of outpatient and inpatient clients, as well as providing care for swing bed and home health cases
  • Role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

    • Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Master's degree preferred
  • National certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • BLS / BCLS certification required
  • CPR certification required
  • No minimum experience required
  • Computer knowledge and skills necessary
  • Hand therapy experience preferred but not required
  • Spanish language skills a plus
