Unarmed Security Professional - Healthcare Site

As an Unarmed Security Professional in Southport, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will provide exceptional customer service, assisting anyone in need and communicating clearly with both the public and your team. Pay Rate : $14.60 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Thur 12 : 00 AM - 07 : 30 AM

Fri 12 : 00 AM - 07 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of healthcare protocols as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Work closely with hospital staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document all incidents and maintain thorough and accurate records according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the healthcare facility.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
