As a Security Professional - Healthcare Site Patrol - Part Time in Southport, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly and professionally, and support the overall well-being of everyone at the facility. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $14.60 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences, to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions and information as needed, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Support Allied Universal in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals within the healthcare facility.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
