Security Officer - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Officer in Burgaw, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more.

As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, demonstrating outstanding customer service and communication skills. By being approachable and attentive, you will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while upholding the high standards of Allied Universal. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 02 : 00 AM

Fri 11 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by executing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and along its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with security-related needs and questions.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to maintain a secure environment within the facility.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
  • Adapt to varying work environments and conditions as required by the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
