CNC Programmer , $25-29 / hr , Livonia, MI
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with expertise in Mastercam and BobCAD software to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing and creating CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring that production runs efficiently and meets all required specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop CNC programs using Mastercam and BobCAD for a variety of CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.).
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and blueprints to create precise, optimized tool paths.
- Set up and configure CNC machines, ensuring proper tool selection, calibration, and machine setup.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing CNC programs to optimize machining performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to discuss project requirements and provide technical support.
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained during programming, and work to reduce cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances.
- Update and revise CNC programs based on engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
