Under the direction of Quality Manager supervision oversees packaging operations along with hourly and temporary employees to ensure the production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards for quality and performance. Adheres to customer specifications and delivery requirements, while working in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures

Overview : To ensure constant quality monitoring during production. Responsible for maintaining continuous product quality during production and guide workflow by monitoring packaging work force's quality inspections and packaging process. Performs quality inspections at regularly prescribed intervals and documents accordingly across multiple production lines. Helps employees in the department perform their duties correctly. Helps team operate at or above designated run speeds.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform and document hourly inspections and run profile, retain samples per EverTec Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Monitor mailer production, including packaging, for defects and inaccuracies per EverTec quality standards; correct and report any non-conformities and initiate hold procedure when needed
• Train Packers on EverTec Quality Assurance (QA) SOP; regularly conduct audits to ensure quality inspections are being performed
• Work with Packaging Coordinators and Operations to resolve issues per EverTec QA SOP
• Communicate effectively with upcoming shift to ensure smooth handoff; keep open dialogue with staff to minimize delays
• Help to identify raw material defects, captures relevant information (lot codes, samples, etc.) and forward to Quality Manager

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis's total compensation package. The hourly base pay range for this role is estimated to be $19 to $22.
