We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented corporate Paralegal / Contract Manager with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience to support our legal operations. This position plays a vital role in managing legal documentation, supporting contract processes and management, responding to subpoenas, and serving as a liaison between internal departments and the Company’s General Counsel. The role is hybrid – in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; remote on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Management
- Maintain and organize the company’s contract database, ensuring timely updates and renewals.
- Onboard new vendors.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and tracking vendor and client contracts.
- Monitor expiration dates and coordinate with internal teams for renewals and amendments.
- Track receipt and completeness of vendor forms, including W-9s, certificates of insurance, and compliance documentation.
- Manage review and approval of data security standards by IT and contracts by Legal
Legal Operations
Receive, process, and respond to subpoenas, warrants, privacy rights, and other legal requests in a timely and compliant manner.Liaise with law enforcement and customer service to ensure accurate and prompt responses to legal demands.Maintain records of legal requests and correspondence.Document and Records Management
Organize and maintain legal documents and records in compliance with regulatory and internal policies.Prepare and file corporate documents, including state and federal filings.Support to Legal Team
Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings.Draft correspondence, legal memos, and summaries as requested.Qualifications :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.3-4 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal setting.Understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and processes.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Experience with a contract management tool, such as ContractSafe, a plus.Preferred Skills :
Strong written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Company Description
