Developer - Private Markets Technology

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive front-end solutions that deliver an exceptional user experience for the private markets business
• Develop robust, scalable, and architecturally sound solutions using modern tools and frameworks
• Drive future state technology architecture leveraging cloud-native technologies, containerization, and serverless computing
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data movement across platforms
• Ensure adherence to best practices in database management, security, and performance optimization
• Explore opportunities for automation and workflow optimization, leveraging Python or .Net and other tools to enhance efficiency
• Provide oversight of all developed solutions and architecture, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers on best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, DevOps, and data engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
• Partner with the Application Service Delivery group to maintain accountability for Delivery & Service Management Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of hand on experience developing data solutions
• Experience in financial services is highly desirable; familiarity with private markets is a strong plus
• Strong proficiency in React, Angular or other front-end frameworks
• Experience with .Net is a strong plus
• Experience with modern database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or CosmosDB
• Understanding of ETL processes, experience in building and / or maintaining ETL pipelines
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
• Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, or similar is a plus
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP or other cloud-based technologies is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
