Zscaler Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Zscaler Engineer to join our team and manage Zscaler tickets, troubleshoot issues, and open up access for users. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and a deep understanding of networking technologies such as TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP / S, VPNs, proxies, firewalls, and routing protocols. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing ZIA and ZPA policies, working on access control tickets, and collaborating with the technical team to ensure smooth operations. You will handle daily ticket working sessions, bringing unresolved issues to Senior Engineers, and work tickets through to completion. The team typically manages 200-250 tickets at a time, with 20-25 tickets open at once, all at different stages.

Skills and Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience working with Zscaler
• Experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
• Proven work experience in creating ZIA and ZPA policies
• Deep understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP / S, VPNs, proxies, firewalls, and routing protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot access-based issues in Zscaler issues and manage Zscaler tickets
• Strong foundational knowledge in networking technologies, particularly DNS
• Experience in change management
• Experience with Zero Trust security models
• Familiarity with access control and policy management
• Ability to work with new system SAs and manage access to pull files
• Experience in configuring policies and Pack File configurations
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time
