Position Overview :
The Public Health Department executes FLIPANY's public awareness, community education, and youth development programs. The Program Manager is responsible for managing staff and independent contractors, and deliverables across multiple grant-funded and fee-for-service programs. This includes overseeing program implementation, maintaining compliance with funder requirements, supporting program growth, and ensuring program fidelity. Primary duties include : (1) Meeting and exceeding program deliverables, regulations, and guidelines, (2) Providing instructors with quality class materials, training, and support, (3) Contributing to the growth of fee-for-service programs and contracts, and (4) Monitoring program compliance, recordkeeping, and evaluation results.

Physical Requirements
Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, sit, stand, hear, use hands to fingers, handle, feel or operate objects, read and write English. Physical capability to effectively use and operate
various items of office equipment, such as but not limited to a personal computer, calculator, copies and fax machines.
Work is predominantly indoors within a usually quiet to moderately noisy environment. A considerable amount of time is spent working / sitting in front of a computer. Must be able to lift, carry, and / or push articles weighing up to 20 lbs.
