ERP Support Specialist (2nd Shift) – Contract
Location : On-site in Redmond, WA
Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 3 : 30 PM – 2 : 00 AM PST
Contract Length : 6 months to start
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ERP Support Specialist to join our Redmond-based team on the 2nd shift. This individual will support and maintain enterprise-wide and SaaS applications used for data collection, retrieval, and production operations. The role focuses on providing front-line ERP technical support to manufacturing and production teams, ensuring seamless business operations and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical ERP system support to manufacturing and production operations.
- Identify and resolve IDOC (intermediate document) issues between SAP and MES systems daily.
- Coordinate and support special activities on the production floor.
- Troubleshoot labeling and system integration issues impacting production.
- Manage purchase order (PO) cancellations in MES / SAP.
- Clear open transfer requests (TRs) in SAP Warehouse Activity Monitor.
- Collaborate directly with production operators to create quarantine tickets (QT) as needed.
- Create, modify, and correct work orders within ERP systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for MES and SmartERP systems.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and documentation efforts.
- Perform technical problem solving and recommend process or system improvements.
- Set up user access permissions and train users on ERP applications.
- Support report generation and data validation for business management and operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.Experience :
3–5 years of experience providing ERP system support, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.Strong knowledge of SAP and MES systems.Familiarity with SmartERP or other ERP platforms a plus.Skills :
Proven troubleshooting and analytical abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Work Environment
On-site position in a hybrid office and light industrial environment.Requires interaction with production operators and floor activities.
