The Demand Management team supports Driscoll’s mission by aligning supply and demand through strategic short-range planning across all sales channels for all berries. This role collaborates cross-functionally with several other workgroups to manage customer demand and align to supply as needed. The position focuses on optimizing pricing, enhancing customer experience, and achieving fiscal targets by integrating customer priorities and market conditions into demand plans. Success in this role requires a strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional with strong business acumen and a proactive mindset.
The purpose of the Demand Management department is to support Driscoll’s Mission through skilled planning and execution that ensures effective supply and demand alignment, enabling exceptional service to both internal and external customers. The team supports go-to-market and customer strategies through detailed short-range demand planning across all Sales channels.
This position will work collaboratively with Sales, Product Business Management, Customer Development, Marketing, and the broader Demand Management team to forecast and manage sales demand across all berries. The goal is to optimize pricing, enhance the customer experience, and achieve strategic fiscal year targets for both pricing and customer performance within the assigned channel. This role is also responsible for ensuring that customer priorities, strategic objectives, and market conditions are key drivers in the development, maintenance, and communication of demand plans to stakeholders.
The role requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional to lead initiatives that bridge Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) with Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE). Deep collaboration is required with Supply Chain partners and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, supply capabilities, and execution plans at the Week, Day, Site and Item level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving integrated planning processes, facilitating cross-functional consensus, and ensuring seamless execution across commercial and operational domains.
