Pay Rate :

  • Level 1 : $46.50 / hour
  • Level 2 : $51.00 / hour
  • Level 3 : $66.00 / hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

  • Job Type : Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

    • Summary :

  • Evaluate program and project requirements; develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions.
  • Review electrical schematics, control panel designs, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Compile and analyze technical data to assess impacts on product design, usability, and production rates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, maintainability, ergonomics, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and release bid / purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
  • Implement workarounds and maintain hardware / documentation configuration.
  • Perform studies and recommend disposition of assets.
  • Manage testing and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET accreditation preferred, not required).
  • Evaluate program / project requirements and develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions for the Production System.
  • Compile and analyze technical data to assess impacts on product design, usability, and rate estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomics, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and release bid and purchase specifications for equipment from suppliers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
  • Implement workarounds and maintain hardware / documentation configurations.
  • Conduct studies and provide recommendations for asset disposition.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Electrical Engineering Degree
  • 2 or more years of project management experience supporting complex technical projects, evaluating / selecting equipment solutions, and assessing electrical system requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience with programming languages such as Java and SQL
  • 1 or more years of experience working to industry standards related to electrical system design
  • Experience in Automation and robotics
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across diverse teams
