Overview
The Automation Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation workflows and API-based integrations that streamline the College's identity lifecycle processes and support key infrastructure operations. The Specialist will work independently to gather requirements, propose solutions, and implement secure, reliable automation that improves account provisioning, reduces manual workload, and enhances the stability of infrastructure services. While IAM integrations and automation are the primary responsibility for this role, the Automation Specialist also contributes to security and infrastructure administration to ensure operational resilience.

Qualifications
Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualification
Experience working in higher education or similar complex IT environments is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
The individual must possess knowledge, skills and ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, using a combination of skills and abilities.

Time Type
Full-time 40 hours per week
Work Schedule
The regular hours for this position will be scheduled between 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday. These hours may vary due to needs of the College or department.

Starting Pay Rate : $33.65 - $40.87
The salary for the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
