About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Content to lead its dynamic and innovative content team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the strategy, tactical operations, and culture of the content organization, with a focus on producing world-class content across various platforms. This role requires a leader with a media company GM mindset, dedicated to fueling a highly-engaged fanbase and driving top-line revenue through smart corporate partnerships and media rights deals. The Head of Content will oversee all aspects of social media, video production, game presentation, reporting, editorial, and digital platforms, and will be expected to set and achieve KPIs that align with the company's goals.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years' experience in content production, strategy, or media. The role demands a strategic and commercial mindset, strong knowledge of creative content practices, and a deep understanding of soccer, particularly the MLS and global soccer landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, be adept at working cross-functionally, and have a collaborative approach to business. Leadership qualities such as a team-oriented approach, high energy, and a strong work ethic are essential, as is the ability to make decisions with a sense of urgency and to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
