job_description.job_card.job_descriptionManage end-to-end logistics from U.S. suppliers to our company and onward to Japan Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations Create and maintain detailed visual documentation for all shipments, tailored to the expectations of Japanese defense clients Ensure all records are audit-ready and meet international compliance standards Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve documentation workflows and visual presentation Proven experience in component inspection (mechanical, electrical, or aerospace preferred) Strong background in international logistics, preferably with U.S.-Japan shipping experience Familiarity with export compliance and documentation requirements Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce clear, professional visual records Experience working with or supporting military or defense-related clients is a strong plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or logistics platforms is a bonus Japanese language skills or cultural fluency is required

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics & Quality Control Specialist to manage the inspection and shipment of components sourced from U.S. suppliers to our facility and onward to Japan. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring that all documentation and visual standards meet the expectations of our Japanese military clients.
Key Responsibilities
Component Inspection
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming mechanical / electronic components from U.S. suppliers
- Verify compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and visual presentation requirements
- Document inspection results with precision and clarity, including annotated photographs and reports
