HX5 is currently seeking a Cost Analyst / Estimator, Senior to support the HNI Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

The C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC / HNI) focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. This position will join the HNIB-BITI team which is responsible for upgrading the Air Force's cyber infrastructure and provides both hard-wired and wireless network capabilities to 175 active duty, Reserve and Air National Guard bases worldwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage, oversee / lead, or perform scientific work that involves designing, developing, and adapting mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques.
• Analyze management problems and providing advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems.
• Use of cost estimating outputs to assess the impact various factors have on the costs to design, research, develop, operate, maintain, and dispose of a particular weapon system.
• Most appropriate phase of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, execution, etc.) for initiating new programs
• Analyze all elements affecting costs for a project of limited scope
• Analyze Contractor financial data using EVM measures of merit to determine program viability with respect to cost, schedule, and performance
• Use of the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) Suite to perform all program office estimates and analyzes is mandatory use for working in the C3I&N Directorate (AFLCMC / HN) for all cost analysis positions
• Analytical processes, such as setting up the problem, conducting background research, collecting, and reducing data, displaying data for analysis, formulating mathematical expressions, and drawing conclusions
• Compliance with all cost estimating guidance including the appropriate DoD, Air Force, AFMC, AFLCMC, or lower-level policy, publications, supplements, manuals, etc., as well as applicable documents and regulations, systems, processes, and guides, as required
