League School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS for our residential program in Walpole. Full-time and part-time staff base rate is $22.00 / hour with additional compensation based on degree status and certification, or verifiable equivalent experience working with children with autism. Relief staff earn $21.50 / hour. We have an immediate need to fill OVERNIGHT shifts (11 : 00 p.m. – 9 : 00 a.m.). Other shifts include : Saturdays and Sundays all shifts, weekday afternoons, evenings.

Position Requirements :

• Must have HS diploma and preferably a Bachelor’s degree; or be in an undergraduate course of study, preferably special education, education, psychology, human services or social work.
• Safety Care, CPR and First Aid certifications (training will be provided if you do not have these currently).
• Prior experience caring for children in a residential setting required; autism experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass rigorous background checks, including nationwide fingerprint screening.

Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Mail.
