Maintain inventory of finished goods and WIP (work in progress).Main Job Responsibilities
Keep an accurate inventory count of shipping supplies and finished goods, including WIPPrint packing slips for outgoing ordersThoroughly count products being shipped out to customers and checking them against packing slipsCarefully package products for shippingAccurately process all shipmentsKeep shipping area clean and tidyAccept and conduct a thorough check / count of incoming shipments, if neededEnter and post received items in IQMS, if neededLearn and use IQMS as it applies to jobPromote quality and safetyEnsure highest possible product quality and adherence to ISO and / or other standardsOvertime as needed on a project-by-project basisPerform other job duties and / or responsibilities as assigned by managementQualifications
Requirements : High school education or equivalentExperience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding and / or shipping preferred, but not requiredKnowledge, skills, and abilities :Speak, read, and write English to be easily understoodAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and / or blueprint formatAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsExcellent hand / eye coordination : manual dexterity, good visionAbility to do basic mathPossess intermediate computer skillsWillingness to work flexible hoursDetail-orientedMust be able to lift up to 60 lbs.Forklift certified or have the ability to become forklift certifiedKnowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other common carriers
