ADO Products is currently hiring a Warehouse Lead. This role is responsible for accurate, safe and on-time performance of general warehouse work in support of sales by receiving and storing incoming products and preparing and shipping orders per customer specifications. This role is responsible for leading the shipping and receiving activities of the warehouse team to achieve improvements in efficiency and accuracy while meeting safety goals. Do you have what it takes?

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm (overtime as needed).

Prepares materials / products ordered for shipping. Packages, palletizes and wraps materials, using judgment to determine best packaging method.

Operates electronic shipping scale to weigh customer order and prepares shipping labels using a variety of computer systems. Applies labels per shipper requirements.

Receives shipments of products from vendors through common carrier shippers. Makes inspection against packing list to verify quantities, taking note of any variances found. Makes general inspection of product quality.

Efficiently and accurately enters receiving into computer system to update inventory levels.

Performs cycle counts by manually counting inventory on a routine basis.

Processes customer and shipping returns. Works with Logistics lead when items are returned due to quality issues.

Keeps work areas clean and well organized.

Performs related duties as assigned or requested by the Operations manager.

Responsible for setting clear work direction for compliance with established procedures and processes. Facilitate workload to warehouse employees to ensure top priority is being worked on. Report any personnel issues to the Operations manager.

Supports other areas of ADO Products as required.

What qualifications do you need?

Must be detail oriented and have one year of work experience performing warehouse shipping and / or receiving responsibilities.

Forklift trained as well as the ability for safe operation of a pallet jack, 2-wheeler, and other material handling equipment.

Basic computer skills including Excel and Outlook program use. Basic ERP knowledge.

Thorough organizational skills.

Ability to use weight scales, banding machines and stretch wrapping machines.

Basic math skills to accurately count products, calculate weights and assess shipping cost options.

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Demonstrated leadership skills in problem solving, performance assessment, communication, and motivation.

Pay : $21-$24 per hour starting wage

Expected hours : 40 per week

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00 The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
