Child Welfare Case Manager
Are you dedicated to creating a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of children and families?
We’re seeking an organized and compassionate Child Welfare Case Manager to help children achieve safety, stability, and permanency. In this critical role, you’ll work directly with families referred to by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) due to allegations of abuse or neglect. You’ll assess needs, coordinate services, and guide families through complex emotional and legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Complete Florida Pre-Service Training and obtain certification within one yearConduct safety assessments and develop case and visitation plansCoordinate services and monitor family progressMaintain documentation and appear in court for case updatesCollaborate with DCF, legal teams, and service providersSupport placements, medical access, and independent livingProvide on-call support and participate in quality improvementExceptional Benefits

Requirements : Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services (e.g., social work, psychology)1–2 years of related experience preferredValid driver’s license and auto insurance must meet all driving requirements and guidelines to operate SCC fleet vehicles and / or a personal vehicle for work-related activities.Strong communication and problem-solving skillsMust complete 40 hours of annual training and agency orientation
