Job Posting : Industrial Electrician

Shift Hours : 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Hourly Rate : $27.00 - $30.00 (based on experience)

Job Requirements :

  • Electrical Skills :

Must have experience with 480V Industrial Electrical systems (3 phase).

  • Mechanical Skills :

    • Knowledge and experience with Hydraulics.

  • Proficiency with Pneumatics.
  • Additional Skills :

    • PLC experience is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities are essential.

    • Equipment and Machinery :

  • Types of Machines :

    • Slitter machines / pickle line (chemical cleaning process for steel).

  • Temper mills.
  • SES line (scrubber for steel).
  • Shears and cut-to-length lines for flat sheet steel.
  • Work Environment :

    • This position involves working with large industrial equipment.

  • Note : This role is not focused on residential wiring but strictly industrial electrical work.

  • In-Person Interview and Plant Tour : Candidates who pass the phone screening will be invited for an in-person interview and a tour of the plant.

    • Benefits :

  • Eligibility : Benefits commence after 30 calendar days of employment.
  • Calculation Example :

    • If an employee starts on June 12, their 30 days begin on July 1, and benefits start on August 1.

  • If an employee starts on the first Monday of a month, benefits start on the first day of the following month.

    • Technical Knowledge :

  • Electrical Question : What would 1 leg of 480V 3 phase measure to ground?

    • Answer : 277 Volts.
