PubKey is expanding in DC and looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. We’re more than just a restaurant — PubKey is a multi-concept space blending tavern classics, refined seasonal cuisine, and cutting-edge culture under one roof.
We’re seeking a leader who can bring creativity, consistency, and passion to the kitchen, working alongside our Executive Chef to deliver both approachable tavern fare and elevated fine dining menus that highlight the best of Mid-Atlantic ingredients.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience : Minimum 5 years in fine dining and 1-2 years in pub / tavern cuisine
- Culinary Style : Strong grasp of local, seasonal cooking with the ability to execute across multiple menu concepts
- Leadership : Ability to train, mentor, and inspire a diverse kitchen team while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Skills : Strong organizational, prep, and line skills; ability to manage high-volume service without sacrificing refinement
- Languages : Spanish-speaking preferred (not required)
- Culture Fit : Familiarity with Bitcoin and Bitcoin culture a plus (but not required)
