Backed by the Sterling Partners Education Opportunity Fund, Amerigo forms strategic partnerships with private day schools in the United States to provide a seamless academic experience for our students. Through the Amerigo model, we collaborate with our partner schools as they provide the core preparatory high-school curriculum while our team on-the-ground delivers a suite of academic, language, and cultural immersion programs in a well-staffed residential environment based in our local boarding campus. The Director, Campus Operations (DCO) will be an influential voice and leader in a growing global education organization. The DCO will have accountability for operations at an Amerigo partner school campus location (or locations), including all academic, operational, financial, and cultural components of the program. This role is ultimately responsible for the physical and mental well-being of its students; leadership and development of staff; fiscal responsibility for its programs and initiatives; and the development of the relationship with our partner school(s).
Leveraging existing elements of the Amerigo program, this leader will be expected to implement a residential life program that values academic achievement, prioritizes each student's overall well-being, and provides a high level of customer service to our students, families, staff members, and partner school community.
In addition to local operational responsibilities, this position will partner with the Central Services team and peers within the organization to develop and refine replicable best practices that can be shared throughout a growing family of partner schools.
Anticipated start date for this position is January 2026. While we are actively recruiting now, the selected candidate will tentatively begin their role at the start of the new year.
