Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Stafford, VA, seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across multiple K-12 locations, including a middle school setting. This full-time position offers a 12-month contract for the 2025 / 2026 school year and is ideal for professionals interested in contributing to students' academic, social, and emotional success within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to design and implement behavioral and mental health strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Offer guidance and training to school staff on best practices related to psychological services and student support.
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community.
Desired Qualifications and Experience :
