Registered Nurse Operating Room; Nights

Shift : Monday – Thursday Nights; 4 ten-hour shifts, 8 : 30pm to 7am\nDepartment : Operating Room; University Hospital\nCompensation : \n

• Base Pay Range : $34.46 to $51.02 per hour, based on experience.\n
• Shift Differentials : Additional $X.XX per hour for X shift\n
• Choose Between Sign-On Bonus -OR- Retention Rewards\n
• Sign-On Bonus : $15,000\n
• Retention Rewards : Up to $15,000 (MOI / KSMC not eligible)\n
• Relocation Support : Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away.\n
• Retention Reward (Option 1) : $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000.\n
• Student Loan Repayment (Option 2) : $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000.\n

• Provide direct care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients.\n
• Plan, direct, and / or participate in the education of the patient, family, community, and health professionals.\n
• Report pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person (i.e. physicians, head nurse, charge nurse, and / or nursing supervisor) and record those observations accurately and concisely.\n
• Maintain the standards of nursing care and implement the policies and procedures of the hospital and assigned nursing department.\n
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups.\n
• Participate in nursing research.\n
• Provide quality care to patients and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction.\n
• May complete unit / department specific duties as outlined in department documents.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n
• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.\n
• One (1) year of RN experience.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n
• Participation in a professional nursing organization.\n
