SOC Analyst, Information Security Operations (Remote - United States)

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our United States team. The SOC Analyst plays a crucial role in an organization\'s cybersecurity strategy. The primary responsibilities and qualifications for this role include :

Responsibilities

• Monitoring security alerts and notifications generated by various security tools and systems.
• Incident detection and response : identify and investigate security incidents, analyze the threat, and take actions to mitigate and contain.
• Security incident handling : execute incident response procedures, coordinate with other teams, document incidents, and ensure timely resolution.
• Log analysis : analyze security event logs and other data sources to identify potential incidents or anomalies.
• Threat intelligence : stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to enhance security posture.
• Security tool management : operate security tools such as SIEM, IDS / IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
• Collaboration : work with other IT and security teams to share information and improve overall security.
• Documentation : maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and security procedures.
• Continuous improvement : participate in efforts to enhance security policies, processes, and technologies.
