Job Title : Transportation Maintenance Mechanic
Company Introduction : G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food. We store and deliver more than 4,000 food items to meet the needs of our customers across 27 states and 35 countries internationally. In recent years, G&C Foods has grown to be one of the most respected redistributors in the United States. We are rapidly expanding all areas of our organization.

Job Summary :
The Transportation Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on our fleet of over 160 trucks.
The Mechanic will be :
- Performing preventative maintenance and required repairs on G&C-owned diesel equipment such as Yard Trucks, Trailers, and Road Tractors.
- Performing minor repairs to G&C Leased equipment when necessary.
- Assist the Transportation Maintenance Supervisor with repairing the wash bay equipment.
- Assist with the installation of TeleTrac ELDs, RFID tags, Ezpass, and Drive Cam equipment.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of trailer / dolly GPS tracking equipment.
- Assist with maintenance of fuel and DEF pumps.
- Assist with the collection of monthly equipment mileage / hours.
- Assist with moving equipment for service purposes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
