Role Profile
Neudesic is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Enterprise Architect to join our organization. This role is critical in ensuring that our IT initiatives align with business goals, enabling modernization, governance, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Function as a strategic enabler across IT programs by identifying and responding to emerging technologies and evolving business demands. Forge strong partnerships throughout the organization—from operational teams to executive leadership—to shape technology priorities. Lead rollout of platforms that scale with enterprise growth and security needs.
- Enterprise Architecture (EA) Patterns and Frameworks : Drive the development and adoption of enterprise architecture patterns and governance frameworks that ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with strategic technology goals. Establish clear architectural standards and models to guide solution design across teams and domains. Provide leadership and oversight to ensure frameworks are effectively implemented and continuously improved to support evolving business needs.
- Strategy and Roadmap Ownership : Lead the definition and execution of technology strategy and roadmap within the enterprise architecture domain, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, validate direction, and secure sponsorship. Continuously refine strategic plans to reflect evolving market trends, organizational priorities, and emerging technologies.
- Research and Development : Remain involved in industry and technology trends. Assess new technological advancements and recommend adoption strategies for cloud and AI capabilities. Maintain active research on current state and emerging technologies.
- Business outcome alignment : Guarantee that design choices and technology strategies directly support and advance the organization's strategic goals and measurable business results.
- Product and Solution Delivery & Integration : Architect and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to unify business and data strategies into cohesive, enterprise-grade solutions. Lead the delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient platforms by aligning engineering efforts across initiatives, sustained operations, and business units. Analyze system interdependencies to anticipate the ripple effects of changes, and champion modernization through hybrid and multi-cloud transformation, driving simplification and operational agility.
- Mentorship : Offers proactive guidance and coaching in technology best practices / patterns, methodology and other relevant areas across Teams and the company.
- Hands-on Coding : The ideal candidate will not only architect scalable enterprise solutions but also participate in software coding efforts, regularly engaging in hands-on programming to ensure technical excellence and alignment with implementation teams.
- Ownership of Enterprise Systems : Accountable for managing the full ecosystem of enterprise systems, including data and reporting infrastructure, while shaping and driving the organization's data strategy to ensure scalability, integrity, and alignment with business goals.
- Infrastructure Automation Ownership : Assume complete responsibility of the CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure resource management, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and operational reliability across development and deployment environments.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.Graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.10+ years of experience in analysis, design, development, or application deployment.4+ years of experience as an EA or Cloud Architect.Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environmentsProven track record in delivering enterprise-grade solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.Established capability to lead transformation initiatives from inception through change release, delivering significant organizational impact.Competent in reviewing system and application designs to ensure compliance and consistency with the businesses strategic direction.Has the ability to organize and resolve to identify and track architectural issues to resolution.Demonstrates initiative for action, consistently stepping into complex situations to drive meaningful change. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and mobilizes cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes.Thrives in dynamic environments by anticipating challenges and leading with purpose and clarity.Highly knowledgeable in Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and Architecture and Well-Architected Cloud Frameworks.Must be proficient with contingency and disaster recovery procedures.Team-oriented expert who can build effective partnerships with technical and non-technical leaders.Must be able to foresee risks and communicate and plan appropriate mitigation.Effective verbal and written communicator who can build cooperative relationships with people to communicate the business value of technology.Accreditation as a certified Architect in Azure, AWS or GCP, preferred.For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $180,000. The salary range may be different if the successful employee is in a different state. This position is also eligible for performance bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
